God helps — I'm Nikola Dašić: a dad, a programmer, a HAM radio operator, and a guy with way too many hobbies.
Irregular creatine drinker, Prolom water devotee, chicken farmer, proud Dacia owner, IKEA regular, GNU/Linux supporter, electronics technician, Orthodox Christian, gym devotee who ran his first lap around Ada Ciganlija on 17 August 2026, cured-beef connoisseur, Yandex admirer and cycling buddy.
Over the years I've worked with teams on projects in automotive, fintech, healthcare, distributed Web3 systems, and more. What follows is just a selection of my own open-source and free projects as an indie developer, not a catalogue of everything I've built at work.
HOME LAB / RADIO
The wooden cabin in my backyard houses my home lab and amateur radio gear. I run servers there, experiment with electronics, and host some of the things I build. Part workshop, part server room — definitely not a giant cloud.

A clearer picture of where your money goes.
I built Troškomir to help people track expenses, budgets, cards and savings in one place. It can scan fiscal receipt QR codes, works offline for everyday tracking, and syncs when a connection returns. It runs on my own home server.

ESP32 firmware for an automated chicken coop: scheduled door and feeder control, sensor readings, and a local web dashboard. Yes, the chickens have better automation than most of us.

ESP32 firmware for a LoRa mesh network with e-ink display, routing, messaging and Bluetooth LE connectivity. Radio meets code, with no cell tower required.

A work-in-progress idea to connect people who cook homemade meals with people who can't or don't want to cook. The aim: more affordable cooking for the makers, and a cheaper, healthier alternative to ordering food for everyone else.
